Natalie's Wedding

There is almost nothing better than watching your friends find happiness. With each year that passes it seems like someone else is engaged, getting married, or having a baby. Since I was one of the first ones to experience all three of those things, it's amazing to be able to watch my friends go through the same, knowing exactly what they are feeling. Knowing exactly how happy they are.

Anthony, Amanda, and I roadtripped it up to Utah to stay in the Deushane mansion (as I like to call it), to attend Natalie and Derek's wedding in Mapleton. It was three days full of drive-thru food, candy, and diet coke. (I still haven't weighed myself since the trip).

The night before the wedding we sat around and talked about high school memories. How does high school feel like so long ago and just yesterday at the same time? We also asked Natalie about every fifteen minutes how she was feeling and if she was nervous about the next day, which she wasn't. She was calm, content, happy, and just ready to be married.

The experience was truly priceless. Amanda and I kept saying how happy we were that we got to go because it would not have been the same experiencing it via Instagram. Once Natalie told me she was engaged I knew there was no way I was going to missing it. We got to get ready with Natalie, see her mom and sisters zip her in her wedding dress, and then watch her walk down the aisle toward her future husband.

After the ceremony we danced. A lot. Then we sent Derek and Natalie off to go enjoy their honeymoon and the rest of their wonderful lives together.

A special thank you to Lissa and Mike for their hospitality. Thank you for letting us stay and be a part of the family :)

Anthony drove the whole time. There and back. It was awesome.

Bedtime. Not sure why I look like a serial killer.

Amanda spotted this bag of healthy, wholesome goodness on our journey home.
